Vick Lukwago Ssali (Promoter)

Professor Emeritus,at Kansai University, Osaka and Visiting Professor at Open University, Chiba. His research interests include economic history of Africa and Japan’s relations with Africa in historical perspective.
Ohsoon Yun
Research professor at the Institute of African Studies in the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, South Korea and the executive director of the Seoul Africa Festival in South Korea. Her research interests are in coffee tourism in Ethiopia and in Asia-Africa interrelations. Visiting professor at Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies until 2018.
Yoichi Mine (General Affairs)
Professor at the Graduate School of Global Studies, Doshisha University, Kyoto, and Visiting Fellow at the JICA Research Institute. His research interests include human security, development and African political economy.
Atsuko Munemura (Website Designer)
Appointed Researcher at the Institute of Economic and Political Studies, Kansai University, Osaka. Her research interests include the economic history of South Africa, with an emphasis on industrialization theory and labour history.
